About us

Kakakothi Parai Plantations established in 1937 is a charming 32-acre family farm located on the banks of the Uppar River near Anaimalai, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Nestled amidst the breathtaking Valparai hills of the Western Ghats, this tranquil haven benefits from a tropical climate that enhances its natural beauty. The farm predominantly focuses on coconut cultivation, with the vast expanse also adorned with mango and banana trees. In addition to these fruit-bearing wonders, seasonal paddy cultivation adds a touch of diversity to the agricultural landscape.

Accomodation

Discover the serene charm of our minimalist-style independent cottages that offer breathtaking views of the Uppar river. Each cottage features a private lawn and a refreshing fresh water plunge pool in a secluded setting.
Designed with an eco-friendly approach, the cottages are naturally cooled with a green living roof and boast Indian patent stone floors and walls. The wire frame mesh openings allow for a gentle breeze to flow through, creating a pleasant atmosphere inside.
